The Swimming Pool

Just under 3/4 mile away by road from The Siding, the Swimming Pool is a small indoor pool which is available for visitors. On arrival you will receive an email with detailed instructions and a link to our booking sheet. We try to keep the pool heated through the May-September period and we may heat it during the winter, please check for information. The pool can be used by the hour provided it is booked in advance by a simple online booking system. Use is at your own risk.

Tennis Court

Next door to the pool is a hard tennis court, rather dilapidated. Tennis rackets and balls can be provided.

Other Activities

Riding is also available locally (please ask for details). The countryside offers many walking, running or cycling opportunities on mostly quiet roads. Directions to the Pool and Tennis Court

The Swimming Pool is located at The Cedars, Cedars Hill, Brockford IP14 5PQ. (marked as DI Alston Ltd on the map here). Out of the Sidings, turn left and then left again at the War Memorial. Follow Hockey Hill down past the village hall and school and turn left at the T Junction marked Cedars Hill. At the top of the hill take the second turning right onto a concrete driveway, (almost opposite the DI Alston Farm sign on the left hand side) follow the driveway (slowly please, chickens ahead) and park.

The pool is at the back of the house, passing between the garages, through the gateway and just beyond the clearly visible tennis court.

Please ensure you have booked online before arrival. Uncover the pool using the pool roller and follow the rules as printed out and on your introductory email. Please remember also to cover the pool on leaving and switch off the sauna, if you have used it,on departure. You use the pool at your own risk and we ask you to be careful to follow the rules for use, which are on your pool email and also placed in the pool area.
